POSITION:
Process Technician II FULLTIME: 6-month assignment
LOCATION: Maple Grove, MN
SCHEDULE: 8am-4:30pm
PAY RANGE: $27/HR

Job DescriptionWorks under limited supervision assisting PD engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.
- Experience with metrology, specifically developing dimensional measurement methods for manufactured medical device products.
- Prior experience making measurement programs with measurement systems.
- Programming experience with Keyence IM, Keyence LM, and Visicon equipment is highly helpful.
- Familiarity with other measurement systems is helpful, including:
Smart Scope, CMM (Zeiss, Hexagon), CT Scanner, O-Inspect, Keyence VK, VR, VH, VL, XGX. - Experience developing measurement recipes using measurement equipment and familiarity with software tools and best practices for inspection recipes (e.g., datums, pattern matching, automated vs operator-assisted inspections).
- Print interpretation: reviewing tooling and component prints to understand inspection requirements. Understanding of GD&T inspection requirements is a plus.
- Data analysis: determine pass/fail dispositioning of parts based on measurement results; sort measurement data in Excel and calculate simple statistics (min/max/ave), conditional formatting, and pivot tables. Minitab experience is a plus.
- Experimentation: conduct experiments, vary process inputs, and test outputs.
- Fixture design: work with CAD designers to design fixtures for processing parts on a production line or positioning parts for inspection;
Solidworks experience is a plus. - Documentation: write documents such as work instructions, inspection reports, tooling qualification documents, and recipe qualification documents; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Teamwork: collaborate with engineers, technicians, and operators to achieve project goals and take direction with minimal supervision.
- AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 1-3 years of related experience.
- Experience with programming Keyence IM, Keyence LM, and Visicon.
- Experience conducting GR&R tests.
- May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
- The ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Use of computers and technology.
