As an Electrical Engineering Technician
, you will support the development of cutting‑edge products from concept through production.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate with engineers to bring new product concepts to life through hands‑on prototyping, testing, and documentation.
  • Safely build and evaluate electronic assemblies, ensuring functionality and reliability throughout the development cycle.
  • Conduct performance tests on systems and circuit assemblies, accurately capturing and reporting results.
  • Generate clear, data‑driven documentation—including reports, charts, and graphs—using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Support pilot production runs, providing on‑the‑ground technical assistance and ensuring smooth handoffs to manufacturing.
  • Work closely with quality control, purchasing, and suppliers to source and evaluate new and existing components.
  • Interpret technical documentation such as schematics, PCB layouts, datasheets, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment including soldering irons, power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and standard hand tools.
  • Keep the lab environment organized, efficient, and aligned with safety standards.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team goals and project milestones.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s/technical degree in electrical engineering technology or related, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in an engineering environment.
  • Prior experience with hands‑on PCB assembly, soldering, prototype construction and testing.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot electronic components, printed circuit assemblies, and hardware.

Location

This is a full‑time position, on‑site at our Maple Grove, MN location. The expected schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, but an occasional shift in hours may be necessary to accommodate project schedules.
