Early Childhood Substitute Teacher – Experienced Educators

$17–$21/hour | Weekday Hours | Twin Cities

Teachers For Tomorrow is seeking experienced Early Childhood Educators to provide reliable, professional classroom coverage at licensed childcare centers across the Twin Cities. This role is ideal for educators who value flexibility while continuing to do meaningful, high-quality work with young children.

We partner with 120+ licensed childcare centers that depend on us for steady, capable classroom support during staff absences, vacations, and high-need periods.

• Consistent weekday work with flexible scheduling
• Trusted to step into classrooms independently
• Exposure to multiple center cultures and age groups
• Support from a professional, people-first organization

• Part-time or full-time options (24+ hours/week)
• Monday–Friday only
• Daytime hours between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Optional additional shifts available

• Maintain established classroom routines and expectations
• Supervise and engage children from infant through preschool
• Support a safe, structured, and developmentally appropriate environment
• Collaborate professionally with center leadership and staff
• Adapt quickly and confidently to different classroom settings

• Prior experience in a licensed childcare or early education setting required
• Early Childhood coursework, CDA, or degree preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Reliable transportation within the Twin Cities

• $17–$21/hour, based on experience
