Located at North View Middle School for students from Brooklyn Middle and North View Middle Schools.
Hiring for these positions will start after Spring break until we have enough staff for the students enrolled. Registration for summer programs will be open until April 17th or until the max number of students are enrolled.
Responsibilities- Assist site staff in preparing and implementing program activities, preparing snacks, and ordering supplies.
- Work together with other staff to meet the needs of all participants.
- Actively engage with students at lunch, on field trips, in the classrooms, during enrichment opportunities, and during transitions.
- Be knowledgeable of the overall mission of the district and the policies and procedures of the individual program.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Assist instructors with projects and activities, help with attendance and other management requirements, and be part of a team who enjoy the program and its students for a summer of fun.
- Targeted Services programming for students entering grades 6‑8 in the fall of 2026 from BMS and NVMS.
- June 22 – July 23.
- Monday‑Thursday.
- 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
8:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. (tentative hours will vary on daily program plans/field trips – may be longer a few days this summer, or on Mondays for staff connection time).
SalaryPer casual salary guidelines.
Required Meetings- All staff meetings – TBD in April and/or May.
- Program set‑up and training – Week of 06/15‑18, TBD with summer program administration.
