30 or less### Description The Church of the Sacred Heart in Robbinsdale, Minnesota is looking to hire 3 section leaders (Soprano, Alto and Baritone) to sing with the adult choir. The choir sings a variety of styles, from sacred and classical music to new compositions. We are a growing community dedicated to proclaiming God’s love through music and service.

As a Section Leader, you will bring strong musicality, reliability, and leadership to the ensemble. You will be an integral part of rebuilding the choir program at Sacred Heart. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent vocal skills, a collaborative spirit, and a heart for ministry through music.

Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the church. Their public behavior must not violate the faith, morals or laws of the Church or the Archdiocese, such that it can embarrass the Church or give rise to scandal. It is not required that this employee be an active participating Roman Catholic.
** Position Details
** Term:
February 2026-May 2026, with the possibility of continuing employment  Compensation: $70 per call (one call is a service or a rehearsal, approximately 1.5-2 hours)

Schedule:

Rehearsals on Wednesday evenings;
Mass 2 Sundays a month, plus Holy Week and Easter  Additional Opportunities:
Weddings and funerals may be available for extra compensation
** Responsibilities*
* • Provide musical leadership within your section through confident, expressive singing  
• Demonstrate excellent sight-reading abilities  
• Run in-rehearsal sectionals as needed  
• Provide solos for choir anthems when applicable  
• With the music director, help provide a substitute if necessary### Qualifications
** Requirements:*
* • Completed or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience  
• Familiarity with the Catholic Mass preferred### Application Instructions
