Overview

Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Maple Grove, MN (Hybrid located in Minnesota, only local candidates will be eligible)
Pay Rate: $65,000 - $75,000 / Year dependent on applicable experience

We are partnering with a growing organization in the Twin Cities to add a Staff Accountant to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of accounts receivable ownership and broader general ledger accounting, and who is excited to be part of a collaborative, hybrid environment.

• Own accounts receivable activities including invoicing, cash applications, collections support, and customer account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Support sales and use tax filings and compliance across multiple entities or jurisdictions
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation
• Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and support accurate financial reporting
• Assist with audit support and ad hoc accounting projects as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounting experience with exposure to AR and general ledger accounting
• Experience with sales and use tax is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and collaborating with a team
