The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These high standards make this a demanding role, which will require you to work closely with your leader to set goals and develop plans.

To meet goals, the General Manager leads a team of Department Managers. This includes helping them set goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching and direction to enhance each department. Improvement across departments elevates overall restaurant performance.

The General Manager also may be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to ensure the restaurant has a capable team for the future.

Ideal candidates should have prior General Manager experience running high-volume locations. A background in quick-service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. Candidates must be 18 years or older to manage in a corporate owned and operated restaurant.
