Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the full-process development of new energy power station projects in the Americas, including photovoltaic and energy storage power stations. Duties cover project information research, market analysis, project screening and evaluation, as well as formulating sound project development strategies and implementation plans.
  • Lead the preliminary project negotiation work, liaise with local government authorities, power companies, landowners and partners. Complete the communication and coordination for key links such as project site selection, land transfer and grid connection, so as to ensure the compliant implementation of projects.
  • Participate in project feasibility studies.
  • Coordinate the resources of internal technical, commercial and legal teams to promote the efficient connection of work in all stages of project development; follow up on project development progress, and timely identify and resolve various risks and problems during project advancement.
  • Job Requirements

    Qualifications

    1. Educational Background

    • Bachelor s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, Project Management, Land Resource Management or related majors. A master s degree is preferred.

    2. Work Experience

    • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in new energy power station development (photovoltaic and energy storage projects are preferred).
    • Candidates with power station development experience in North America, especially in Chicago and its surrounding areas
      , will be given priority.
    • Familiarity with the full process of power station project development, and hands-on experience in project filing, grid connection approval and land negotiation is required.
    • A thorough understanding of new energy policies, power market rules, land management regulations and environmental protection requirements in the United States, particularly in the State of Illinois and Chicago. Ability to proficiently apply relevant policies to facilitate project development.
    • Strong capabilities in project research, data analysis and feasibility study, with the ability to independently complete project evaluation and formulate development plans.
    • Excellent communication, coordination and commercial negotiation skills, capable of efficiently engaging with various internal and external partners and resolving complex issues during project development.

    4. Availability

    • Must be available for permanent residency and work at the factory in Chicago, Illinois.
    • Be willing to undertake necessary local business trips and work overtime when required.
    • Possess a strong sense of responsibility, good pressure resistance and team spirit, with clear goal orientation, and be able to efficiently drive project development forward.
