Architectural Project Architect​/Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Architectural Project Architect/ Project Manager to join our team immediately. This role works closely with the Managing Principal, design staff, and consultants to ensure project execution aligns with client goals, firm standards, and financial objectives. The ideal candidate is a licensed architect with strong leadership, project management, and client-facing skills.

• Collaborate with the Managing Principal to implement and refine workflow processes that ensure design solutions align with client requirements and firm standards
• Manage projects from inception through close-out, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and quality across all deliverables
• Oversee consultant agreements, coordination, and integration to produce cohesive, well-executed project outcomes
• Mentor and guide architectural staff, supporting professional development and preparing team members for increased responsibility
• Monitor project budgets, staffing allocations, and sunk costs to achieve profitability goals
• Oversee architectural project billing, invoicing, and accounts payable/receivable
• Provide technical support in the preparation of drawings, specifications, and related deliverables as needed, while maximizing staff utilization

• NCARB certified and licensed Architect in the State of Illinois
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated architectural project management experience , leading teams through all project phases
• Proven experience managing client relationships, consultant coordination, project schedules, and budgets
• Strong understanding of project accounting, billables, and financial performance
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated professional with a commitment to service excellence and team development
