Are you dedicated to providing a safe work environment? Parkwest Casino is bringing a fresh face to the casino industry. Parkwest Casino is looking to hire a security guard. Our Security Guards are responsible for providing a safe environment by ensuring the security of the casino, employees and the guests. A successful Security Guard will possess keen observation skills and understand the basic card room games while demonstrating a high level of customer service to various personality types from multiple cultures.

• Operate a surveillance system quickly and effectively.
• Write accurate, detailed reports.
• Count chips with a limited number of mistakes.
• Provide excellent guest service and support to reach the next level of customer service.
• Be flexible with shifts; must be available to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

• Must have a valid BSIS guard card.
• Able to write accurate, detailed reports and demonstrate strong observation skills.
• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Open availability; must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid California Guard Card.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge or license.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.

• Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds.
• Must be able to sit, walk, stand, and bend for 6 or more hours a day.
• Repetitive use of hands for grasping, manipulation, pushing and pulling, and reaching for the entire shift.
• Position may involve exposure to noise, dust, gas, flames, chemicals, extreme temperatures, humidity or wet conditions.
• Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.
