Welder/Fabricator

Range of Pay:$18.00 - $25.00

Shift: 1st Shift - Working 4 days a week 10-hour days.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking experienced and certified welders to join our team in the modular building manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding with at least 2-4 years of hands-on experience. A current 3G welding certificate from a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) is required. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to become a permanent part of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding operations on modular building components, including steel and other materials.

• Ensure all welds meet the required quality standards and adhere to safety protocols.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.

• Utilize welding equipment to fabricate, assemble, and repair modular building components.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are safely stored.

• Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.

• Follow all safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• 3G Welding Certificate from a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), with current certification required.

• 2-4 years of experience as a welder, preferably in a manufacturing or modular building environment.

• Proficient in reading blueprints and welding symbols.

• Experience with various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in welding.

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

• This position is temp to perm, offering the possibility of full-time employment with benefits after the probationary period.

• No travel is required; work will be done locally at the warehouse.

• Full-time hours, with potential for overtime based on project needs.
