Quality Control Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Custom Shop Quality Control Associate to join our production team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and presentation of customized products before they reach our customers.

What You’ll Do

As a Quality Control Associate, you will inspect and prepare customized products for shipment while ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect finished custom products for quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship
• Verify product style, color, size, quantity, graphic placement, and embellishment details using Shopworks work orders
• Perform visual inspections, design validation, trimming, steaming (removing Solvy and hoop marks), and thread cleanup
• Measure embellished and altered garments for accuracy
• Fold, tag, bag, and package products for shipment
• Follow daily QC schedules to ensure on-time delivery
• Meet and maintain department productivity and capacity goals
• Communicate quality issues, shortages, or equipment malfunctions to the Quality Control Lead

What You Bring

• Previous experience in a screen print, embroidery, or production environment preferred

Skills & Abilities

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions
• Basic math skills (addition and subtraction for production records)
• Basic computer and keyboard skills
• Willingness to learn company ERP (Dynamics AX) and Shopworks production system
• Familiarity (or willingness to learn) production embellishment processes including:
  • Screen Printing
  • Heat Press
  • Alterations
  • Laser Engraving

Physical Requirements

• Regular sitting; occasional standing, walking, and reaching
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to distinguish colors and fine detail
• Comfortable working in a moderate to noisy production environment

Pay Range: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
