Internal Sales Representative

Location: Nottingham (Office-based, Full-time)
Salary: £28,000 basic + commission
OTE: £33,000 £ 38,000 (top performers up to £45,000)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Are you an experienced Internal Sales Executive, Business Development Executive or Telemarketer with a background in Lightning Protection, Electrical, Earthing, Fire Compliance or Contract Services?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established technical services business providing nationwide safety and compliance solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their internal sales team with a confident, commercially minded sales professional.

You will play a key role in driving new business, developing client relationships and supporting the wider sales strategy within a supportive, down-to-earth team environment.

The Role
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through research, outbound calls and prospecting activity

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure new contracts and repeat business

  • Work closely with Business Development and Operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience

  • Prepare quotes, proposals and sales reports to track performance and pipeline activity

  • Attend occasional client meetings or industry events when required

About You
  • Proven experience in internal sales, business development or telemarketing

  • Industry experience within Lightning Protection, Electrical, Fire Compliance, Earthing or Technical/Contract Services is highly desirable

  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

  • Target-driven, self-motivated and commercially aware

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, professional environment

  • Confident using CRM systems, Excel and general IT tools

  • Full UK driving licence (occasional travel to client sites may be required)

Package & Benefits
  • £28,000 base salary

  • Realistic OTE of £33,000 £ 38,000 (top performers earning up to £45,000)
