Internal Sales Representative
Location:
Nottingham (Office-based, Full-time)
Salary: £28,000 basic + commission
OTE: £33,000 – £38,000 (top performers up to £45,000)
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Are you an experienced Internal Sales Executive, Business Development Executive or Telemarketer with a background in Lightning Protection, Electrical, Earthing, Fire Compliance or Contract Services?
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established technical services business providing nationwide safety and compliance solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their internal sales team with a confident, commercially minded sales professional.
You will play a key role in driving new business, developing client relationships and supporting the wider sales strategy within a supportive, down-to-earth team environment.
The Role
Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through research, outbound calls and prospecting activity
Build and maintain strong client relationships to secure new contracts and repeat business
Work closely with Business Development and Operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience
Prepare quotes, proposals and sales reports to track performance and pipeline activity
Attend occasional client meetings or industry events when required
About You
Proven experience in internal sales, business development or telemarketing
Industry experience within Lightning Protection, Electrical, Fire Compliance, Earthing or Technical/Contract Services is highly desirable
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
Target-driven, self-motivated and commercially aware
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, professional environment
Confident using CRM systems, Excel and general IT tools
Full UK driving licence (occasional travel to client sites may be required)
Package & Benefits
£28,000 base salary
Realistic OTE of £33,000–£38,000 (top performers earning up to £45,000)
