Assembly Operative

Overview

The Best Connection are currently seeking Assembly Operatives for our client in Mansfield who are one of the worldwide market leaders of their products in the Military/Civil Aerospace Industry!

This is a temporary to permanent role, for a growing interconnect business, where the opportunities to progress are endless!

• Assembling aerospace products and parts from drawings. You will be in a role that requires you to assemble small intricate parts and components, feeding wires into connectors, requiring exceptional dexterity and attention to detail.
• Following listed instructions/measurements carefully
• Working in a seated, designated area to complete orders and follow targets
• Usage of magnification and specialised tools to complete orders, ensuring quality and performance standards are achieved.

• Monday - Friday, 0730 - 1600 (30 min unpaid break daily)
• Once trained, you may have the option to condense your hours down, for example, to enable an early finish on a Friday

• £12.78 per hour
• Time and a half paid after 40 hours worked

• The client are looking for candidates with a background within a similar role i.e. nail art, painting/drawing by numbers, building of model figures, computer/phone dismantling, sewing machine skills, etc. as well as the below skills:
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Be able to work well under pressure
• Have a great attitude and work ethic
• Great level of English reading

You will be required to attend your 1st interview in TBC Mansfield branch, where you shall complete a bespoke application form for the client.
