EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled CMM Inspector to join a precision engineering company located in North Nottingham, working permanently.

Due to the nature of the work & industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances, therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.

Your responsibilities include:

* Setting and Operating CMM's to ensure accurate measurements are taken

* Completing inspection reports

* Working to tight tolerances on machined components for the Aerospace sector

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

* ​​​​​Strong background in Quality Inspection / Metrology / CMM

* Previously inspected complex, safety-critical machined components for high-profile industries such as;
Aerospace, Defence, Motorsport, Automotive, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Petrochemical, etc.

* The ability to set and operate CMMs and/or Faro Arms - PCDMIs / Camio or similar would be advantageous

* Ability to self-inspect parts using manual measuring equipment

* Experience working on manual and digital measuring equipment including shadow graphs, gauges, calipers etc

* Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Knowledge of performing first-off, stage, and final inspection

* Worked on small to medium-sized, precision-machined components
