Purpose:
Join a child-centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people for the better, Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
We are on a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties). We want you as part of our mission!
We are working with Schools and Local Authorities in your area and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers like you to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs in your community.
Experience:
2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
- Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
- Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
- Location:
You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs
Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment
Location and CompensationMansfield, Nottinghamshire - 28.00 Hourly - 35.00 Hourly GBP Full Time
