About the RoleJoin Our Team as a Community Teaching Assistant! Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of young learners? As a Community Teaching Assistant, you'll work 1:1 with students who have transitioned out of mainstream education, guiding them on their unique educational journeys. Your mission: to create a nurturing and enjoyable learning environment tailored to each child's individual needs.
Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of educators and tutors to plan and support these students' educational development.
We're not just looking for someone who's good with kids; we need a passionate educator who can connect with students on a personal level. Your primary focus should be on fostering a positive, engaging learning environment. Enthusiasm for children's education is a must, along with a nurturing and approachable demeanor that makes students feel comfortable and supported.

Before you start, you'll undergo a comprehensive week‑long induction to ensure you're fully prepared for the role. This includes:
- Office‑Based Learning:
Spend time with our HR and Senior Leadership team to get acquainted with our processes and policies. - Shadowing:
Two full days of shadowing a Senior Member of Staff in your local area to see firsthand how we operate and to learn on the job.
After six months in the role, you'll have the opportunity to enroll in a Level 3 Teaching Assistant course, fully funded by the company. Upon completion, you'll be eligible for the higher pay band as a newly qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
