Teacher Active is proud to work in partnership with a well‑established College within the Health, Education and Service Industries Directorate. The college is committed to delivering high‑quality education and training, supporting learners to achieve their full potential academically and professionally. The role involves facilitating learning and assessing learners on Early Years and Teaching Assistant programmes up to Level 3, working across college, school and nursery environments.
Responsibilities- Facilitate learning and assess learners on Early Years and Teaching Assistant programmes up to Level 3.
- Deliver learning and assessment to groups and individuals across college, school and nursery environments to an exceptionally high standard.
- Assess learner portfolios and, where qualified, internally verify Early Years and/or Teaching Assistant programmes.
- Deliver a taught session in the evening (term time) when required.
- Travel to employer premises and learner placements as needed – access to transport is essential.
- Appropriate vocational experience and a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or a related discipline.
- Experience working within the Education and Early Years sector.
- Vocational Assessor qualification (D32/D33, A1 or TAQA).
- Internal Verifier qualification (D34/V1 or TAQA) desirable.
- Ability to work with learners of all ages across a range of learning environments.
- Strong communication, organisation and assessment skills.
- ICT competence, including the use of electronic learner portfolios.
