Claims Administrator

Location:

Mansfield area
Full-time | Monday–Friday
£26,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a Claims Administrator on behalf of a well-established and reputable disaster restoration business. This company specialises in supporting properties affected by fire, water and accidental damage and prides itself on delivering high standards of customer service and technical excellence.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone organised, detail-focused and customer-driven to join a busy operational team.

The Role

As a Claims Administrator, you will support the end-to-end management of new and existing claims, ensuring processes are followed in line with client procedures and internal guidelines. You will play a key role in maintaining KPI and SLA targets while delivering outstanding service to customers throughout their claim journey.

Key Responsibilities

* Setting up new job files accurately (electronic and manual systems)

* Managing and updating records within the client contractor system (SRS)

* Producing daily worksheets and documentation for site teams

* Liaising with technicians and operational staff to ensure correct information is provided for site visits

* Booking appointments with external providers such as electricians and surveyors

* Handling customer and client enquiries professionally and efficiently

* Recording all data accurately within individual claim files

* Supporting the scheduling and deployment of operational staff

* Ensuring company procedures are followed regarding disposal and recycling of items

What We’re Looking For

* Previous administration experience (claims or insurance environment desirable but not essential)

* Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

* Confident using computer systems and internal databases

* A proactive and team-focused attitude
