The Associate National Accounts Manager (NAM) is responsible for the relationship, strategy, and sales growth of assigned distributors and B2B end users including contractors, MROs, and industrials. This is a remote sales position with responsibility for revenues ranging from $7‑$10 million per year.

- Work with key distributors to sell incremental new and legacy products to end‑user customers. Build productive relationships with distributor sales people to open the door to long‑tail sales opportunities via competitive conversions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans using a data‑driven process. Identify incremental sales opportunities at assigned branches using gap analysis.
- Write and present a sales activity report on a regular cadence to direct manager. This report will focus on two activity types:
Stock and Flow Sales and B2B Sales. - Establish and maintain key relationships with channel partners and end user customers.
- Uphold company margins with key accounts.
- Identify strategic growth opportunities (short and long‑term) based on an understanding of unique market factors. Learn large project timelines, competitive supply gaps, and trends in the construction industry to keep in front of the business.
- Participate in monthly review and planning process for assigned accounts that includes the Direct Supervisor, RMs, and ZVPs.
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
- Experience in the utility and/or industrial markets with an overview of one‑step and two‑step distribution and the mass merchandiser channel.
- Ability to create and understand sales forecasting and developing sales programs.
- Create an image with accounts that emanates professionalism, competence, and credibility.
- An individual with a high degree of people skills, a sense of urgency, and very adept at the art of negotiations.
- The ability to interact and interface with a variety of people in different responsibilities and different levels inside and outside the organization.
Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; use fingers to touch, pick or pinch objects; reach with hands and arms; push or pull; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; use foot or leg controls; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
For all jobs no one should lift over 50lbs on their own. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
This role has an annual On‑Target Earnings (OTE) range of $90,000–$115,000. Actual earnings may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to performance, experience, and location.
