Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T1536) n to apply for the Guest Advocate role at Target.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and resolve guest concerns.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Promote and explain the benefits, offerings and services; assist with loyalty program enrollment as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately in compliance with safety standards and best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Educate guests on Target App features (including Wallet) and guide enrollment and usage of Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Assist with returns following store policies and escalate to leadership as needed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Adhere to safety policies, report hazards, and operate in a safe manner.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-Up orders, and related duties in compliance with applicable laws (including adult beverage laws where relevant).
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to educate guests about products and services and engage around offerings.
• Ability to use handheld scanners and operate technology as directed; work independently and with a team.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within set time frames.
