Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr.
Position SummaryProvide excellent customer service and maintain the store environment to ensure a smooth shopping experience for members. Fulfill roles related to merchandise management, payment processing, security, training, and policy compliance.
Responsibilities- Ensure area of responsibility is maintained in accordance with company policies by properly handling returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
- Provide member service by maintaining exit areas, reviewing member receipts, acknowledging the member and identifying member needs, assisting members with purchasing decisions, and helping locate merchandise.
- Maintain self‑checkout area, resolve member issues, promote Sam’s Club products and services, provide guidance on self‑service technology, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
- Secure and safeguard Sam’s Club assets and property by observing and communicating potential criminal activity, maintaining paperwork and logs, executing emergency response procedures, and ensuring compliance with security and safety practices.
- Assist in training Member Frontline Service associates on company processes, teaching new technology and tool functionality, delivering new program rollout training, and providing continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, standards of ethics and integrity, using the Open Door Policy and applying them in business processes and practices.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress; recommend ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
- Customer service experience.
- Retail experience operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.
