Work location:

Addiction Recovery Center, 240 North Miller Road, Mansfield, TX 76063

Work hours:

Part time, Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

What You Need
  • Nursing Diploma required OR
  • Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required
  • BSN preferred
  • ACPI (30 days within hire)
  • BCLS prior to hire
  • BCPMHN upon hire required
  • One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program required
  • One year of Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred
  • Substance/Addiction and Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred
  • RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care
What You Will Do

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

  • Assesses the patient
  • Plans for the care of the patient
  • Implements interventions as appropriate
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
  • Incorporates age-specific safety and infection control measures into patient care
  • Initiates information-sharing with patients and/or significant others
  • Maintains continuity of patient care across shifts, across facilities, and during transfers
