Responsibilities
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
  • Medication reminders: provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules; support clients in managing their medication routines
  • Meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements; monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
  • Companionship and social interaction: engage clients in meaningful conversations and accompany clients to appointments and social activities
  • Health monitoring: observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team; document care provided and any notable observations
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team
