Warehouse Superintendent/Warehouse Supervisor

Drives a tractor‑trailer or straight truck to transport material, merchandise, equipment, or workers between various establishments such as manufacturing plants, mills, warehouses, or customers’ places of business. May also load and unload the truck without helpers, make minor mechanical repairs, and keep the truck in good working order.

• Complete pre‑trip inspections prior to driving each day.
• Check orders on truck and plan the shortest and fastest route based on how the truck is loaded.
• Check the weight distribution on each side for legal loads.
• Make sure the load is chained and secured, tarped and properly flagged.
• Be aware of road, traffic, and weather conditions and adjust your driving accordingly.
• Assist in pulling orders, loading and unloading truck.
• Advise Supervisor when delayed at a customer or not able to make planned stops, as well as receiving problems or customer comments.
• Collect all C.O.D.s and return all checks and cash to the office immediately upon your return.
• Perform Warehouse functions when needed and when driving work is not available.
• Keep the truck clean and in proper working condition at all times and report any service concerns immediately.
• Complete post‑trip inspection at the close of each day.
• Always be helpful and courteous to all customers and employees.
• Perform other duties as related or assigned for the benefit of the Company.
• Good attendance is an essential function of this job.

High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Class A CDL, with prior driving experience.
Mechanical background.
DOT Physical Exam Card.
Four points or less on MVR.

Ability to work as a team member without close supervision to meet Company and personal goals.
Good reading, math, and writing skills, as measured by a pre‑employment test, with capability of reading a tape measure, calipers, and road maps.
Ability to meet physical demands of job which are required 95% of the work day (i.e., driving, lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, sitting and climbing).
Ability to present a positive image to our customers as a company representative.
