Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery for an immediate start. This is a 13-week contract position with a requirement for flexibility around holiday scheduling.
Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor and assess patient needs throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in emergency situations as needed, demonstrating critical thinking and quick decision-making skills.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Current Ohio or compact nursing license required upon submission.
• NRP certification required; STABLE certification must be obtained if not already held.
• Recent travel experience in nursing (within the last year) is essential.
• Availability for call duty is required.
