Operations Manager, Program / Project Manager

WhatYou'll Do
- Lead engineering, deployment, and service readiness for all MDU and commercial fiber builds
- Serve as the primary point of contact for MDU project execution
- Oversee surveying, infrastructure readiness, and HL design audits
- Coordinate Construction, Network Services, Dispatch, and Customer Experience teams
- Manage multiple projects across markets, including remote team oversight
- Ensure accurate network documentation and quality control standards
- Monitor budgets and maintain operational efficiency
- Enforce safety standards across field operations, vehicles, and equipment
- Support on‑call rotations and after‑hours escalations as needed
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance
- 2+ years of fiber optic experience (fusion splicing preferred)
- Ability to read construction prints and redline drawings
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of fiber deployment, installation, and troubleshooting
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in confined spaces or at heights
- Availability for emergency callouts and holiday support
- Fiber certifications, outside plant splicing experience, cable locating, aerial installation, VoIP knowledge, and project management experience.
- Strong leadership and influence skills
- Operationally driven with a focus on quality and cost control
- Calm and decisive during outages or escalations
Clear communicator across technical and non‑technical teams - Customer‑first mindset
- Deep commitment to safety
This role blends office and field‑based work, with regular travel across assigned markets. You'll work outdoors in varying weather conditions and in elevated or confined‑space environments as needed.
