Job Description
Summary:
$15,000 SIGN-ON BONUS
External applicants may be eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a one-year work commitment. Previously employed applicants who have been gone from the organization more than 90 days may also be eligible.
The Cardiac Sonographer uses the modalities of ultrasound imaging to provide information pertaining to patient‘s cardiac anatomy, physiology and pathology.
Responsibilities And Duties:

- 65%
Performs ultrasound imaging. 10
- 20%
Prepares required reports. 5
- 10%
Maintains files.

Maintains equipment. Provides needed statistics.

Handles telephone to schedule and provide information.
5%
Reviews results of echocardiogram with physicians and performs quality assurance activities
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor‘s Degree (Required)
BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, RDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Job Description:
Minimum in a two-year allied, patient-related healthcare program (i.e., sonography, radiology, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, or RN) AND either registered (RDCS or RCS) or registry-eligible (RDCS or RCS) with registry obtained within 12 months of hire. BLS Certification.
