Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor – Catalyst Services: Mansfield, OH

Overview

Job Description: We are seeking a Licensed Clinician Substance Use Counselor to provide comprehensive mental health and addiction counseling services to join our team that values growth, contributes to a supportive agency culture, and is motivated to support the needs of the SUD population.

• Intake and assessment interviews
• Treatment planning
• Individual counseling
• Facilitates group therapy using evidence-based practices
• Completes required paperwork/reporting to various referral sources
• Attend staff meetings
• Proficiency with clinical documentation
• After care planning
• Referral to other mental/physical health providers, internally or in the community

• LSW, LPC, MFT, LCDCII, or LCDC IIICDCA will be considered if currently enrolled in college
• Clinical services are offered in both telehealth, and in-person delivery methods. Comfort and willingness to provide services in both methods is necessary
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to establish healthy and appropriate boundaries with clients
• Ability and willingness to cooperate with agency staff and other agencies
• Understanding and adherence to federal confidentiality regulations (HIPAA & 42 CFR Part
  2) and commitment to adhere to agency as well as all funding source policies and procedures/mandates
• Excellent people skills and team orientation
• Ability to use computer/technology, Microsoft Word, etc. as well as an understanding if using an Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) system.
