Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Description

Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a dental assistant to join our Ohio team. This full-time opportunity is scheduled to work 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, from 6:30am until 3:00pm) at the Richland Correctional Institution in Mansfield, OH. NO late nights or weekends are required for this position! Compensation is competitive at $19 plus per hour. There is also currently a $1000 sign- on bonus available for this position. • Administrative duties: required for this position, and you will be trained in this area.
• Chairside duties: preventive, restorative, extraction, and prosthodontic care. Very limited endo, with NO ortho or crown & bridge required.
• Focus on administrative duties; limited endo.

• 1 year experience is strongly preferred and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• Active Ohio Dental Radiographer license required.
• Per ODRC policy, this facility is a smoke-free facility.
