Located in our Mansfield, OH facility and reporting to the Project Manager, the Service Coordinator/Dispatcher will be part of the client service delivery and care team. This role involves accounting functions, communication, administration, and organization. This demanding, fast‑paced environment requires a good memory and the ability to prioritize several tasks that may require further follow through. Standard Plumbing & Heating is a full-service industrial, institutional, and commercial mechanical contracting company.

Responsibilities
  • Fulltegrate dispatcher
  • Taking service order calls from clients and communicating with clients and technicians as to the specific work requirements.
  • Entering and tracking all work orders, details, and notes in the ERP system.
  • Dispatching쓰기 technicians to the client site, as well as any equipment needed.
  • Assist the technicians with client asset setup and tracking.
  • Communicating with service technicians regarding purchase orders and service orders they are requesting.
  • Scheduling and overseeing daily progress of work orders and communicating with clients.
  • Approving daily hours worked by technicians.
  • Handling questions and/or concerns from technicians and/or customers.
  • Provide customer care by following up with customers as to the status of their work, additional work required, and satisfaction with work completed.
  • Entering purchase orders in our ERP system, committing them and tracking them through the accounts payable process.
  • Sourcing and tracking parts and materials and scheduling techs for installation.
  • Reviewing and approving technician hours for payroll through our ERP system.
  • Work with project managers, technicians, and customers to send out quotes.
  • Maintain information for workflow outside the ERP.
  • Able to handle the daily demands of a very fast‑paced environment.
  • Other skills required are excellent problem solving, communication, multitasking, detailed, organized, and able to thrive in a team environment.
Required Education/Experience

High School Diploma (or GED or High Schoolashi Equivalence Certificate) and 3-5 years of dispatching experience required.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.

Work Environment

This job operates in both an office and a field environment. Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
