Responsibilities include:
* Design rigorous standards-based units and deliver well-structured lessons designed to motivate and engage students
* Adjust and adapt teaching practices on assessment results and the individual needs of students
* Communicate and collaborate effectively with families and colleagues
* Fulfill professional responsibilities and contribute to school-wide decision making and planning
* Manage special education caseload of students
* Participate in, and chair, team meetings
* Write and amend IEPs as necessary
* Maintain student confidentiality
