Your Role

Position: Inventory Control Clerk

Location: Manor, Texas

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with possible overtime including weekends; shifts available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will be actively involved in managing inventory and tools, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all inventory movements, including stocking, re-stocking, and record-keeping.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory quantities, types, and values.
  • Participate in monthly and annual inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate procurement and inventory requirements with management and vendors.
  • Track transportation and distribution of inventory.
  • Audit inventory regularly and prepare reports on stock status, surpluses, returns, and damages.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed in the warehouse, including proper use of safety equipment and badges.
  • Assist in inspections and audits as required.
  • Qualifications
    • Knowledge of inventory and quality management.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work scheduled hours, including occasional weekends and overtime.
    • Attention to detail, prioritization skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Physical ability to push/pull up to 75 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds.
    Preferred Skills and Experience
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • 2-3 years of experience in transportation, warehousing, or distribution.
    • Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks; forklift certification preferred.
