Guaranteed Pay While You Build Your Caseload!
Full-time & Part-time positions available. We understand caseloads take time to build. That's why we offer guaranteed pay to ensure income consistency as you grow. You'll be financially supported from day one.
Pay Range: $63,000 - $114,000
Job DescriptionA certified Physical Therapist (PT) will implement treatment programs to assist pediatric patients with physical, neurological, cognitive, and social/emotional disabilities or delays by planning and administering physical therapy services in the home and community.
Qualifications- Texas State PT license
- Current CPR certification
- A minimum of 1 yr. of experience preferred
- Provide high quality care and meet the needs of the patient and family by performing evaluations and interpreting assessment results; developing goals appropriate to child; creating and implementing physical therapy treatment plans in conjunction with the physician.
- Assist pediatric patients to develop or regain physical, neurological, cognitive and/or social/emotional functioning and improve their level of independence by implementing skilled interventions to maximize the potential of each individual child.
- Educate, coach, and empower caregivers and families to develop skills to carry over therapeutic activities into the child's daily routine.
- Coordinate with referral partners to provide services for children in accordance with the physician order.
- Assure continuation of the therapeutic plan following discharge by designing and instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs.
- Document patient care services and care coordination in an intuitive electronic medical record system.
