Solar Technician

Solar Technician (Contract, W2 Only)

Pay: $25.50 per hour on W2. Onsite work. Visa sponsorship available. No C2C.

Supporting the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of utility‑scale solar facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults on solar equipment
• Perform pad‑mounted transformer switching in accordance with Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
• Execute corrective maintenance tasks on solar generation equipment
• Work scheduled shifts during the week and participate in on‑call coverage as required by management
• Maintain a high level of safety awareness and compliance at all times
• Work outdoors for extended periods under varying weather conditions
• Complete and maintain EH&S documentation
• Accurately complete required paperwork, including work orders, timesheets, tool & PPE inventories, and additional documentation as required
• Participate in and complete all required pre‑job briefs prior to work execution
• Exposure to electrical and mechanical systems
• Require strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures
