Overview
Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking part-time Job Coaches for the North Mankato, MN area. This posting will be used to fill multiple permanent, part-time Direct Care positions within DCT Community Based Services site in North Mankato, MN. Shift available: rotating (day/evening). Includes potential for weekends and holidays.

Note:
This posting will be used to fill multiple permanent, part-time positions. Eligible candidates may receive a signing bonus per the posting details; some state rules apply (e.g., State employees may have different bonus eligibility).
- Teach and coach program participants’ job and independent living skills, and provide ongoing job support.
- Act as a liaison between businesses and program participants for program and community-based opportunities.
- Document participants’ activities, progress and care by recording data in standard forms and reports.
- Participate in daily operations to meet licensure, legal, and accreditation requirements and to follow CBS/MSOCS policies and procedures.
- Assist the program in meeting Department of Labor, MN State licensing, and CARF standards.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Current and valid driver s license
- Ability to read and understand, write sample reports, perform basic arithmetic, and read/interpret charts and graphs
- Basic math skills
- Clear communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Cultural responsiveness and experience working with diverse backgrounds
- Experience implementing training/employment programs for individuals with cognitive/intellectual disabilities, mental illness, chemical dependency, physical disability, brain injury, and/or displaced workers
