Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Territory Manager (Outside Sales) to drive growth and develop customer relationships in Minnesota and the Eastern Dakotas. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven sales professional with technical aptitude and a strong background in industrial equipment sales or process automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow business in the assigned territory
  • Identify and pursue new customer opportunities across municipal, OEM, and industrial markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with engineers, contractors, maintenance teams, and purchasing agents
  • Promote and support the portfolio of valves, instrumentation and various solutions for applications
  • Provide technical consultation and product recommendations to solve customer process challenges
  • Conduct site visits, product demos, and training sessions for customers
  • Prepare quotes, submit proposals, and follow up to close business
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and prepare sales forecasts
  • Attend trade shows, training events, and vendor meetings as needed
  • Collaborate with inside sales team to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree & 3+ years of outside sales experience in industrial automation, process control, or a related technical field
  • Proven ability to develop territory plans and exceed sales targets
  • Strong understanding of valves, instrumentation, and process systems is preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
