The Lead Generator / Marketing Specialist plays a critical role in fueling the company’s sales pipeline through proactive outreach, strategic prospecting, and marketing execution. This is a high‑activity, relationship‑driven position focused on identifying potential customers, creating interest in Culligan solutions, and scheduling qualified opportunities for the sales team.
This role blends sales development, customer communication, and marketing support. The ideal candidate is comfortable initiating conversations, highly organized, and motivated by measurable results.

Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting- Conduct outbound phone calls to prospective residential and commercial customers using warm and targeted calling strategies
- Generate new opportunities through email outreach, database marketing, and follow‑up campaigns
- Reconnect with past customers, service lists, and inactive accounts to uncover new opportunities
- Qualify leads by identifying customer needs, timeline, and potential fit for Culligan solutions
- Schedule appointments and hand off qualified opportunities to the sales team
- Assist in executing local marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives
- Support, coordinate and attend key community outreach efforts, events, and direct contact marketing programs
- Help organize and manage lead sources generated from advertising, referrals, and service interactions
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to refine messaging, targeting, and campaign performance
- Provide professional, friendly communication that reflects the Culligan brand
- Maintain consistent follow‑up with prospects to nurture relationships and move opportunities forward
- Respond to inquiries promptly and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the outreach process
- Accurately document all customer interactions and lead activity within CRM systems
- Maintain organized outreach schedules and follow‑up tracking
- Provide regular reporting on activity levels, lead quality, and conversion trends against agreed‑upon metrics
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with outbound calling and proactive customer outreach
- Organized, self‑motivated, and results‑driven
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and follow‑up tasks simultaneously
- Experience in sales, marketing, telemarketing, customer service, or business development preferred
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar platforms) is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Experience with social media, video editing, graphics is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, outreach, marketing, or a similar people‑facing role preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and professionally
- Basic computer proficiency including email, data entry, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Ability to stay organized while managing multiple follow‑ups and outreach activities
