Shift leader, Retail

As a Shift Leader at our MSU store located at 1600 Warren St, Mankato MN 56001
, you are the captain of our bakery during your shift! You understand what it takes to "Own the Night" (and beyond) by predicting the flow of business and leading a successful shift. Your hands-on leadership style should include building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. It also means taking pride in knowing that your leadership as an Insomniac contributes to a productive and enjoyable night for your store!

WHAT WILL I DO AS A SHIFT LEADER?

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to all guests throughout their experience in our bakery
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating relevant information, monitoring production efficiency, holding the team accountable to standards, and assisting in training and coaching team members
• Ensure a safe, clean working environment for guests and staff, adhering to safe food handling practices
• Manage cash handling and deposits

DESIRED SKILLS/

EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Experience with Point of Sale systems
• Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 or older to be employed
