The Purchaser / Supply Chain Specialist manages day-to-day purchasing activities while supporting material planning, inventory control, and supplier performance in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures timely, cost-effective procurement of materials, maintains accurate planning data, and partners cross-functionally to support uninterrupted production.

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

• Issue and manage purchase orders, pricing, delivery commitments, and supplier communications
• Source and manage suppliers for materials, equipment, and MRO items
• Support MRP-driven material planning to meet production schedules
• Monitor material availability, shortages, and supply risks
• Maintain inventory accuracy; support cycle counts and excess/obsolete material disposition
• Track supplier performance and support corrective actions and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with production, planning, engineering, and quality teams
• Maintain ERP/MRP master data and prepare basic supply chain reports
• Support cost reduction, Lean, and process improvement initiatives

• 3–5+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or material planning
• Manufacturing or production environment experience required
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, etc.)
• Solid analytical, communication, and supplier management skills
• Proficiency in Excel;
  Power BI experience a plus
• Lean/CI knowledge preferred
