Purchasing Coordinator

Twin City Staffing is seeking an experienced purchasing & inventory control specialist to join a growing manufacturing team in Becker, MN. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys negotiating with vendors, managing inventory, and keeping operations running efficiently behind the scenes. Location: Becker, MN

Wage: $55,000 – $85,000/year (DOE)

Hours: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Duties of the purchasing & inventory control specialist:

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors
• Select and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and performance
• Maintain accurate inventory levels to meet production needs
• Enter and receive purchase orders in the ERP system
• Update and track inventory records
• Assist with invoices, vendor setup, and credit applications
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Conduct annual physical inventory counts
• Communicate regularly with vendors and manage accounts

Requirements of the purchasing & inventory control specialist:

• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience purchasing motors, gearboxes, bearings, or electrical control components
• ERP system experience required
• Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills
• Basic knowledge of steel fabrication
• Basic accounting knowledge
