We are searching for an experienced Material Handler at our Mankato, MN facility.

We have one position available for the following shift:

1st Shift (Mon–Thu): 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:

* Develop intimate knowledge of the processes supported.

* Pick up and drop off materials at pre-designated areas at scheduled intervals.

* Keep the workplace clean and organized to facilitate the efficient flow of materials.

* Movement of materials to their intended locations.

* 5S activities for all responsible areas (sorting, organizing, cleaning, sweeping).

* Facilitate the flow of materials by participating in the production process including assembly, building of components, shipping, and receiving as needed.

* Transacting material to jobs and non-conformances.

* Work with purchasing and supply chain in the inventory management process including cycle counting, physical inventory, and notification of stock-outs.

* Flexibility to cross-train as necessary.

* Other duties as requested by management.

Requirements:

* 4 years' manufacturing or related experience.

* Organized workspace and product.

* Able to lift 45 lbs.

* Able to stand for long periods up to 4 hours at a time.

* Able to read and write fluent English.

* Computer skills and MS Office experience preferred.
