The Working Production Supervisor is a hands‑on leader responsible for overseeing daily production operations while actively participating in the work alongside the team. This role ensures that safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate leads by example balancing supervisory responsibilities with direct involvement in production tasks to meet schedules and maintain smooth workflow.
Responsibilities- Supervise, train, and support production team members to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Work alongside the team performing production duties such as machine operation, assembly, fabrication or where support is needed.
- Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or processes as needed to maintain efficiency and product quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and quality procedures.
- Inspect materials, products, and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions and take corrective action.
- Provide hands‑on guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Follow established company and departmental precautions and procedures in the performance of all job duties to ensure a safe work environment for self and others.
- Demonstrate respect and regard for customers and coworkers to ensure a professional, responsive and courteous environment at Minnesota Elevator, Inc.
- Participate as a team member by performing additional assignments to meet organizational goals.
- Expected to regularly work more than 40 hours per week to support workload, team and team objectives.

- Laser experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED.

This role involves approximately 10% sitting, 40% walking, and 50% standing. Frequent use of hands and arms is required, with occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and communicate effectively.
