Amanicare Services Inc. is seeking a reliable and compassionate House Manager to oversee the daily operations of an assigned group home. The House Manager plays a critical hands‑on leadership role, ensuring safe, compliant, and person‑centered services while supporting Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and individuals served.
This role is ideal for someone with strong frontline experience who is ready to step into a leadership position while remaining actively involved in day‑to‑day care and operations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day functioning of the assigned group home
- Ensure staffing coverage for all scheduled shifts and assist with call‑ins
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful living environment
- Provide day‑to‑day supervision and direction to DSPs during shifts
- Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring new staff
- Monitor staff performance and communicate concerns to management
- Ensure services are delivered according to Individual Support Plans (ISP)
- Support individuals with daily living activities, community engagement, and personal goals
- Respond to incidents, behavioral needs, and medical situations as required
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of shift notes, incident reports, and logs
- Support compliance with MN 245D regulations and company policies
- Act as a point of contact for staff, management, families, and case managers
- Communicate important updates to leadership in a timely manner
- Promote teamwork and positive workplace culture
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a group home or human services setting
- Demonstrated leadership or lead staff experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass MN DHS background studies
- Experience with Minnesota 245D services
- Knowledge of ISP implementation and documentation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
