Job Posting
Technical leadership role supporting both the City of Hutchinson &Hutchinson Utilities Commission. Reporting to the IT Director, this position oversees & strengthens network and cybersecurity programs while providing guidance and backup support to the Network Administrator and IT Technician.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain cybersecurity strategies ensuring compliance with state, federal, and industry standards.
- Secure SCADA systems for water, wastewater, gas, and electric utilities.
- Monitor networks for threats.
- Manage incident response, training, and disaster recovery planning.
- Support server infrastructure, backups, Microsoft Windows environments, and IT projects.
- Assist police departments with digital evidence and mobile technology systems.
- Degree in IT or a related field with significant experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and network security.
- Ability to work collaboratively under pressure with flexible hours.
