• Nursing Assistant assists patients with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care, which support nursing practice under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
• The nursing assistant carries out designated activities that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel.
• This includes assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care to patients and assisting in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.

• Must be 18 years old. High school diploma/GED preferred.

  Demonstrates ability to multi-task under stressful situations. Demonstrates ability to communicate, collaborate and manage relationships with interdisciplinary members while maintaining patient/family centeredness and safety in a timely, efficient and equitable manner.
• Keyboard experience preferred.
• BLS certification included in orientation program; successful completion required prior to first day in patient care.
