Our Information Services (IS) department of 140 members provides IT support to all Council divisions.
This position is eligible for hybrid (remote and onsite) teleworking.
ResponsibilitiesThe Network Transport Administrator (Senior Systems Engineer) role involves working with a multitude of technologies including fiber optics, microwave systems, WANs, MANs, and other transport media to support data transmission between Council facilities. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust networking solutions and troubleshoot complex network issues as they arise. Works with external transport vendors to secure lines of service and to work on coverage contracts, including managing vendor relations during outages.
