This position is responsible for designing elevator packages under the oversight of a Professional Engineer.
Responsibilities- Read, interpret, and analyze technical specifications and drawings/plans
- Design Ideation
- Designing elevator equipment using 3D modeling
- Creation of 2D part drawings
- Interfacing with manufacturing on manufacturability of designs
- Bill of Material creation using in-house developed software
- Execute additional tasks as needed
- 2 Year Technical Degree
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D drafting
- Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor or equivalent parametric engineering software
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Good mechanical/technical aptitude
- Resourceful, problem-solving, able to prioritize and multitask
- Detail oriented and organized
- Able to communicate effectively with great people skills & a sense of humor
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Self-motivated and work independently with minimum supervision
- Unshakeable integrity
