About the Role

This position is responsible for designing elevator packages under the oversight of a Professional Engineer.

Responsibilities
  • Read, interpret, and analyze technical specifications and drawings/plans
  • Design Ideation
  • Designing elevator equipment using 3D modeling
  • Creation of 2D part drawings
  • Interfacing with manufacturing on manufacturability of designs
  • Bill of Material creation using in-house developed software
  • Execute additional tasks as needed
Experience
  • 2 Year Technical Degree
  • Knowledge of 2D and 3D drafting
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor or equivalent parametric engineering software
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Skills
  • Good mechanical/technical aptitude
  • Resourceful, problem-solving, able to prioritize and multitask
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Able to communicate effectively with great people skills & a sense of humor
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated and work independently with minimum supervision
