Field Operations Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a Designer I to support field and office-based utility design projects. The Designer will collaborate with customers, project managers, and internal teams to design, coordinate, and deliver projects that support energy and infrastructure operations. This position offers a balance of fieldwork and office design
, with opportunities to interact directly with customers and contribute to meaningful projects that impact local communities.

$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

• Manage assigned projects from initiation to completion.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to gather project details and requirements.
• Conduct site visits to collect field data and verify design needs.
• Prepare and revise project designs, layouts, and related documentation using company tools and software.
• Obtain necessary design approvals and coordinate with construction or implementation teams.
• Ensure all designs comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and customer service teams.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel for site visits.
• Technology savvy and comfortable learning new design or mapping tools.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) or AutoCAD
